Even with the rain and fog rolling across the mountain, the Memorial Day Jubilee at Wintergreen Resort turned into an awesome day of axe throwing, competition, and mountain fun. Guests ages 14 and up stepped up to the trailer throughout the afternoon, with families, first timers, and experienced throwers all taking their shot at the targets. The top score of the day was an impressive 23, especially considering the wet conditions.
One of our favorite parts of partnering with Wintergreen Resort is providing complimentary axe throwing experiences for resort guests during major holiday weekends throughout the year. The mountain atmosphere, live events, and friendly competition always make these events memorable, rain or shine.
